Vance Merolla is the Global Director of Environmental Sustainability for Colgate-Palmolive Company, a consumer products company based in New York City, responsible for leading Colgate's worldwide programs around climate, energy efficiency, water stewardship, landfill waste reduction, and sustainable buildings. Prior to his current 19 years with Colgate, he was an environmental consulting group manager for the URS Corporation.
Vance holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University and a Masters in Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University. He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the states of New York, New Jersey and Washington, and is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED-Accredited Professional, and a Member of the USGBC NJ Chapter Board of Directors.
Vance currently teaches a graduate level course on Sustainable Operations at Columbia University in NYC.
