Suzanne Haerther

Suzanne Haerther has been involved in USGBC for the past 10 years, both in a volunteer and staff capacity for the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter and the Georgia Chapter. As chair of the Green Schools Committee for the USGBC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, she coordinated the chapter volunteer project of completing a LEED for Existing Building Operations and Maintenance Certification for a School, the first in the state of Florida.

In Georgia, she coordinates the High Performance Healthy Schools program that works with schools throughout the state to recognize the accomplishments of the schools now and encourage them to take the next step in the sustainability journey. The program works with K-12 and higher education both public and private schools.
