Josh has over 8 years of professional experience working in the sustainability, construction and real estate industries. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Southern Polytechnic State University, a Green Building Certificate from Colorado State University, and is a LEED AP O+M. He has been involved with the USGBC - San Diego Chapter since 2013 and has been on staff since January 2015. He has worked on LEED EBOM and energy projects throughout San Diego.
Projects include (6) LEED Silver certifications in Balboa Park; currently managing (2) GAP LEED O+M projects (San Diego Food Bank and Museum of Man); managing GAP hands-on training and feasibility assessment at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation; and energy consultant to Balboa Park Cultural Partnership for tasks such as Energy Star Benchmarking of 20 cultural facilities, identifying energy saving measures through energy audits, and implementation of energy conservation measures.
